The Sales Manager That Created An Award-Winning Team

Britta*, a driven sales agent, had worked hard for several years and finally received a well-deserved promotion to Sales Manager. She started off at a good pace, and made some noticeable initial improvements. Then the whole team just seemed to stall. Her co-workers told her not to be so hard on herself and her superiors suggested that this early in the game, she likely just needed to give it more time.

Britta knew the sales side of the business inside and out. She had the leadership skills. And she had a pretty darn good team, but as time wore on, she felt as if she was waiting for traction and it just wasn’t happening.

One day, Britta mentioned to a co-worker, a seasoned marketing manager, that in her frustration she’d begun praying for change. He told her that he had faced a similar wall early on in his managerial position and someone had given him the advice that when you are praying for your circumstances to change, and nothing is happening, stop and pray for something to change you instead. He had taken that advice and started searching for help to change whatever was going on inside that needed to shift. With some one-on-one help, he was able to direct and transform his team to make the progress he knew they were all more than capable of.

It was only a few weeks later that Britta found Business Breakthrough Therapy and decided to give it a try. Within seven weeks she not only had a clear sense of direction, but she approached each decision with intentionality and vision. She was grounded in what mattered. Her goals weren’t just clear to her, they were meaningful. And her team was showing strength and vibrancy.

Within three months the sales numbers were showing a consistent upward trajectory. Britta’s circumstances had definitely changed.
